Developer's Announcement

Weekly update posts will now be uploaded once every 2 weeks. There is not enough content to share on a single weekly basis. Also, I am planning to join various game jams for develop experience and for my personal career perpose. But I will be working on Tasty Road in every bit of time that is left over.

World map traveling system concept art has been designed. System implementation is currently in work progress.

 

 

New Features and Updates

 

- New Inventory System -

All Items in the inventory can be dragged and dropped to other slots. Press Action Key 1 (Q) to drop 1 amount, press Action Key 2 (E) to pickup 1 amount.

 

 

For "Food Menu", foods that are currently picked up can be exported outside the vehicle. Drag the food and hold the interact key (Space).


"Foodbox" will spawn near the vehicle containing the food that was picked up from the menu.

Stations can also be exported in the same way. If the interact key (Space) is held without any stations picked up, the player can retrieve stations that are currently exported. Station swap is also available when the interact key (Space) is held on a slot that has a station item.

For the "Archive Menu", pickup an item and press Action Key 1 (Q) to toggle current food ingredients. 


Press Action Key 1 (E) while item pickup to toggle bookmark.

 

- Interact Tutorial System -

A Tutorial popup system has been added to new interactions during gameplay.

The tutorial system is only added to the vehicle menu for play testing.

 

- New Food State "Rotten" -

Foods will now gradually decay over time and get rotten.
